"I hope that all of us, in our respective roles, will treat children today with a mother's heart, and help to promote and bestow upon them a School meal, a shield, a solid fortress of protection. That is a law, called the School Nutrition Law, which includes the national school milk. Let every school meal and every glass of fresh, clean milk not only nourish their bodies but also ignite the aspirations and will of the Vietnamese people to rise. A glass of milk to rejuvenate the nation."

Those were the deeply moving words from Labor Hero Thai Huong, Founder and Chairwoman of the Strategic Council of VSF & TH Group, at the 2025 International Scientific Conference on School Nutrition.

With the heart of a mother, she emphasized that children only have about 10 years of a "golden age" to create momentum for their entire lives. And every day that the School meal program is delayed is a day of valuable opportunity that children miss out on.

With that spirit and aspiration, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) has persistently and consistently accompanied Vietnam's young generation for many years, notably through the School Health program - one of VSF's five target programs. Through the program's activities, more than 110 million cups of TH true MILK and 8 million school nutrition meals have reached children across the country. Additionally, projects such as "1,000 school restrooms", the S-Race student run, and a series of communication activities and training to enhance capacity for school nutrition among teachers and parents have been implemented, sowing the seeds for a healthy, confident generation with the physical and intellectual strength to reach far.

Previously, in Hanoi, the 2025 International Scientific Conference School on Nutrition with the theme "For a Healthy Vietnam - For Vietnamese Stature", co-organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Health and Vietnam Television, brought together numerous leaders from the Party and the State, together with international experts. The opinions at the conference all agreed that it is time to legalize school nutrition, build a School Nutrition Law and create a solid legal framework to take care of the health of the future generation. Politburo member and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Nguyen Trong Nghia, also affirmed: "People are the most precious asset, the decisive factor. We must have a high-level legal mechanism to protect the health of the people, especially the young generation."
