The groundbreaking ceremony of Na Khoe bridge - For Vietnamese Stature 4 in Cao Bang

In the past, in order to save time when traveling to the fields, local people worked together to construct a makeshift bridge over the stream using luong trees, wooden planks. But every time it rains, the makeshift bridge is swept away, and both the local authority and people are pining away for a solid bridge that is both secure and safe for people to go across.

The bridge is made to be over 21.6 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, 3.72 meters tall, and weigh 8 tons. The total investment of the project is almost 700 million VND (in which the cost of construction is 600 million VND), and it is extracted from the fundraising program "Drips of love" of VSF with the participation of many organizations and individuals, particularly employees of TH Group and BAC A BANK, to support disadvantaged people and localities across the country.

The bridge crosses the Tong Ngoang stream, resolving the issue of traffic separation for 400 families in the Quang Lam commune. In particular, the bridge will help the local children have a  safe trip to school, which is especially important during the wetter months of the year.

"For many years, TH Group, BAC A BANK, and the VSF have collaborated on social security activities. The Na Khoe Bridge - For Vietnamese Stature 4 project is the next construction achieving the parties' goals in social security and community development. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Thanh, General Director of Cao Cao Province CNC Dairy Farm and Milk Processing JSC, spoke on behalf of VSF, TH Group, and BAC A BANK. "We hope that the presence of the bridge will contribute to bringing opportunities, connection, and development to the locality," he said.

In addition, during the ceremony, the parties  delivered 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to residents in difficult circumstance of Quang Lam commune.
