In the 2024-2025 school year, the Project “Growing up with mountainous students” sponsored nearly 60,000 nutritious semi-boarding meals (including lunch and afternoon snacks) for 235 ethnic minority preschool children in Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province.

These warm meals, with both vegetables and meat, have become a vital source of energy and motivation for the children on their daily journey across streams and mountains in pursuit of knowledge. Thanks to this support, the attendance rate at all sponsored schools has remained at 100%. The children’s physical and cognitive development also saw significant improvements. On average, they grew 3.3 cm taller and gained 1.9 kg compared to the beginning of the school year.

This school year marked the expansion of the project’s support, with Lung Chang school site added to the sponsorship list, increasing the total number of sponsored sites in Cao Bang to six:

- Na O and Khau Noong (Thach Lam Kindergarten)

- Ban La, Khau De, Sang Xoay, and Lung Chang (Thai Son Kindergarten)

In addition to meal sponsorship, the project also invested in improving facilities at these sites:

At Thai Son Kindergarten:

- Lung Chang: sponsored a generator, kitchen equipment, and the construction of a kitchen

- Ban La: sponsored a meat grinder

- Khau De: sponsored a television

At Thach Lam Kindergarten:

- Khau Noong: sponsored the construction of a kitchen

To celebrate the end of the school year, the Pac Miau 2025 Trip was organized to encourage and uplift the children on their challenging educational journey. Volunteers held a day of fun activities and delivered practical end-of-year gifts and hundreds of donations from generous benefactors directly to the children.

These achievements have only been possible thanks to the joint efforts of individual sponsors, groups, organizations, and businesses, along with the commitment of the whole team. For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF)sincerely thanks all our valued sponsors for continuing to write this meaningful journey with us throughout the past school year.

This July, the project will continue its fundraising campaign to sponsor semi-boarding meals for the 2025-2026 school year. We look forward to your continued support so that this journey of nurturing children's education and keeping their footsteps on the path to school can go even further.

All fundraising updates will be posted on VSF’s official communication channels.
