The project “Growing up with mountainous preschool students” to support semi-boarding meals for poor students in Van Ho district, Son La province

The first week of October has come with good news for the students of Chieng Khoa Primary and Secondary School, Van Ho district, Son La province. Starting from today, October 3, the first warm meals have been provided to the children during the lunch break in the middle of a long school day.

In this new school year, 113 elementary school students with extremely difficult family circumstances will be sponsored nutritious semi-boarding meals from the "Growing up with mountainous preschool students" project, implemented by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation with the company of TH Group.

Chieng Khoa Primary and Secondary School is situated in Chieng Khoa commune (Van Ho district, Son La province). It is an agricultural rural region where many people are still in difficult circumstances. As a result, people's awareness of the importance of education for their children is still limited. Despite the difficulties, the teachers here always try to do their best and mobilize as many students as possible to go to school, contributing to increasing the school attendance rate.

Ms. Do Thi Nga, Vice Principal of the school shared: “I can’t express my happiness to see my dear students receive support and love from VSF. On behalf of their parents, I would like to thank VSF sincerely.”

The nutritious semi-boarding meals will help share difficulties with the students on their journey to school, hence fortifying their health for studying.
