VSF to award 22 scholarships to underprivileged students who have excellent academic performances in Ha Giang province

With the aim to improve the learning conditions for students in disadvantaged areas, VSF and Bac A Bank have awarded 22 scholarships to underprivileged students who have excellent academic performances at Tien Nguyen Ethnic minority Semi-boarding School, located in Quang Binh district, Ha Giang province. During this event, the total scholarship amount of 22 million VND was awarded to Tien Nguyen students by the People's Army Newspaper, on behalf of VSF and Bac A Bank.

Tien Nguyen the home of 5 ethnic groups: Dao, Tay, Kinh, Mong, Nung, of which the Dao ethnic group accounts for 99%. Due to limited economic development conditions, education and training in this area face many difficulties.

Hopefully, support from VSF and Bac A Bank will promote the learning spirit of the students in Tien Nguyen commune.
