VSF to donate 10 million VND for Ms T.T.H in Quang Ninh province

VSF had joined up with the Women’s Union in Quang Ninh province to offer a 10m VND aid to Ms H. - who is a victim of family violence.

Ms T. T.H. is a Tay ethnic, living in Binh Lieu town, Quang Ninh province. Recently, her family endured a heartbreaking incident when her husband poured gasoline on her trying to set her on fire. Consequently, she suffered from over 50% body burn, threatening her life and was transferred to Vietnam National Institute of Burns for treatment. Being in a poor family, she was raising two children, one of them had an innate cardiac disease so her family was confronted with many financial difficulties during the treatment procedure.

Knowing Ms H.'s predicament, VSF in cooperation with Quang Ninh Women’s Union supported her with 10 million VND to pay for medical bills.

Until now, Ms H.‘s physical and mental health is improving and she is continuing her treatment and recovery at Vietnam National Institute of Burns.

VSF hopes that Ms H. will recover soon and come home with her family.
