VSF to provide milk to 60 children at K Hospital, Tan Trieu Branch

Last weekend, VSF had collaborated with representatives of the Department of Social Work at K Hospital (Tan Trieu branch) to give 480 glasses of nutritious milk to the children who were being treated at the Pediatric Department. All funding for this activity came from the profit of our Facebook fanpage’s regular online charity fair.

Seeing the joy and happiness of those who received such a humble gift, we were motivated on our journey of giving love to children and the community.

To ensure the safety of these children during Covid-19, new regulations have limited the number of visitors. We want to send our sincere apology to volunteers who had signed up but could not be able to participate in recent times.

"Restrictions applied during the pandemic have prohibited the visit of many volunteering groups. It is such a loss for the joy of our children." - said Ms. Ngo Hong Nham, an officer of the hospital's Social Work Department.

With the milk supply on a regular basis, VSF hopes that children at K hospital will have sufficient nutrition and health for medical treatment.
