10 Outstanding Activities of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation in 2022

1.National and international awards

The Hero of Labor Thai Huong -  Chairwoman of the Management Board of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) was honored as "Women's Initiative for Sustainable Empowerment" 2021 in Asia, Top 50 Asian women over 50 with international influence and Top 10 Typical Vietnamese Entrepreneurs in 2022.

In addition, VSF also received an award for Dedication for community and 3 international awards from Earth Journalism Network in 2022, Asian Gender Trainers' Network Program - AgenT and the US Embassy for projects promoting equality and protecting the environment.

Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang - Director of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation is one of 18 female leaders of the Global Change Leaders Program 2022 and received a certificate of merit from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for contribution to Red Sunday voluntary blood donation day.

2. Sponsored nearly 60 billion VND for social security activities

Sponsored nearly 60 billion VND for the following activities:

Supporting the poor and disadvantaged groups in the 2022 Humanitarian Month program, “The whole country joins hands for the poor” program, voluntary blood donation program, and supporting people in flood areas through the program “Sending love to people of Central Vietnam”.

3. Sponsored over 22 billion VND for civil construction

Building a bridge named Na Khoe - For Vietnamese Stature Foundation No. 4, upgrading and renovating 9 schools, residential roads, starting the construction of the next 32 toilets in the project of 1,000 toilets for children and more than 300 gratitude houses for people with disadvantaged backgrounds in Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Dong Nai, Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Nghe An, and many other provinces with a total value of more than 22 billion VND.

4. “LET’S ORANGE WITH TH - Act to end violence against women and children”

With the message "Joining hands for the true happiness of Vietnamese women and children", For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, TH Group and United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) launched campaign “LET’S ORANGE WITH TH - Act to end violence against women and children”

The campaign was launched at 15 TH true mart stores and received the response of 21 divisions/departments of TH Group; attracting nearly 250,000 engagements and more than 170,000 interactions on the online platform; 50 press and television news coverage of the Campaign; 238,000 TH's orange products were sold, corresponding to the fundraising amount of VND 149,940,000 to support loans to improve the livelihoods of survivors of gender-based violence.

5. For mother and baby - For Vietnamese Stature phase 5

Successfully implementing the project For mother and baby - For Vietnamese Stature Foundation phase 5, supporting 5,000 workers and giving aid packages to 500 workers raising children affected by COVID-19 in factories – industrial zones in Vinh Phuc and Ha Nam province.

6. School Nutrition Program

Donated nearly 56,000 semi-boarding meals to highland students in the project “Growing up with mountainous preschool students” in Cao Bang and Son La province; 14,000 meals and nearly 170,000 glasses of TH True MILK and healthy beverage products from TH group for pediatric patients.

7. “Scarlet Sails” & “Happy School” project

Continuing to implement “Scarlet Sails” project’s activities in Hai Phong, Sapa, Hanoi and Nghe An province with a total of 7 training courses and seminars on sexual abuse prevention for 350 children, 120 caregivers and 30 officials of local Women's Union. At the same time, VSF also implemented the “Happy School” project to bring 02 schools, improving the competencies for nearly 720 teachers and students in Son La and Lao Cai province.

8. Youth development program

Successfully recruited 80 young people for the DynaGen - Live United, a youth development program to participate in the training program. Among those, 12 young people with disadvantaged backgrounds received scholarships worth 1,500,000 VND/month/person for 10 months, expanding their age range and scope in the North and the South. Sponsor 6 community initiatives with the theme “Sharing and Connecting” from the generation of responsible citizens.

9. “Action for Environment” program

“Action for Environment” program with two main projects, "Youth for Environment" and "Female journalists take action to reduce plastic waste and plastic pollution" continued to be implemented with outstanding results such as:

- Project "Youth for Environment": 364 products participated in the "Plaspics Hunter" contest, 6 youth environmental initiatives and a series of 7 exhibitions "Plastic Talk" was implemented.

- Project "Female journalists take action to reduce plastic waste and plastic pollution": A network of female reporters was established and operated with the participation of 30 female journalists and 10 professional advisors. 8 proposals by female reporters were sponsored with 30 investigative journalism products; media campaign "Lunch to rescue Earth" attracts tens of thousands of interactions.

10. Fundraising activities

Particularly in 2022, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation successfully raised more than 55 billion VND through many fundraising programs from individuals, businesses, domestic and international organizations for development and social security activities, most notably: fundraising event "Family Day", attracted 1,000 families to participate and raised 6.5 billion VND.
