100 gift sets worth a total of VND 100 million presented to support people affected by storms and floods in Tuyen Quang province

For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) and TH Group, in collaboration with the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU), have completed a relief trip to deliver support gifts to women members and orphaned children affected by Storms No. 10 and No. 11 in Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 Wards (Tuyen Quang Province). Mr. Vu Xuan Thai, VSF Program Manager, joined the delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Vice President of the Vietnam Women’s Union.

During the visit, the organizations presented 250 gift sets worth a total of VND 250 million (each worth VND 1 million in cash), including 100 gifts sponsored by VSF and TH Group to help families overcome post-storm hardships.

Mr. Ha Minh Man, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ha Giang 2 Ward, shared emotionally:

“Even now, some households still lack access to clean water, and daily life remains extremely difficult. In such a situation, we are deeply touched by the care from the Vietnam Women’s Union, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, and TH Group. These gifts are not only material support but also a great source of encouragement that helps our people stay strong after the disaster.”

Ha Giang 2 Ward was among the areas most severely affected by the recent storms in Tuyen Quang Province, with around 5,000 households and many schools submerged, disrupting residents’ daily life, work, and learning.

In addition to Tuyen Quang, VSF is actively working with other storm- and flood-affected localities to promptly implement emergency relief efforts.
