240 million VND donated to build 4 great unity houses for vulnerable households affected by storms and floods in Tuyen Quan

Recently, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), in collaboration with CARE International in Viet Nam and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, donated 240 million VND to support the construction of 4 great unity houses for four families that suffered severe damage due to storms and floods in Xin Man commune, Tuyen Quang province. Accordingly, each household will receive 60 million VND to rebuild or repair their damaged homes.

All supported households are in difficult circumstances, with homes seriously deteriorated after the storms, no longer safe for daily living. This support will help the families soon stabilize their living conditions and feel more secure in continuing their livelihoods.

Previously, also in Tuyen Quang, VSF worked with the Viet Nam Women’s Union to deliver 100 gift packages worth a total of 100 million VND to people affected by Storms No. 10 and 11. At the same time, VSF also provided 200 gift packages worth a total of 200 million VND in Lao Cai and Thai Nguyen (100 million VND for each province).

These are timely efforts by VSF and its partners to stand with communities as they overcome the difficulties left by floods and storms. Currently, VSF continues to work closely with partners and local authorities to implement further emergency support and livelihood recovery activities, helping people stabilize their lives as soon as possible.
