A representative of For Vietnamese Stature (VSF) supervised a training session of Asian Gender Trainers’ Network Program

On the morning of October 12th, 2022, a representative of For Vietnamese Stature (VSF) supervised a training session with 15 members of Asian Gender Trainers’ Network Program (AGenT) from Nepal, Myanmar, Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, and Cambodia.

Ms. Tran Hong Diep, the Deputy Director of VSF, received direct training on the subject of "Improvisational Theatre for Perception Changing and Problem Solving".

The participants reviewed the current state of gender issues and gained experience with improvisation in initiatives to promote gender equality and prevent gender-based violence with a variety of target groups. At this training, a VSF film about how to use improvisation was also shown and talked about.

Ms. Tran Hong Diep, who has more than 20 years of experience working in the field of gender and gender mainstreaming in Vietnam, represents VSF at AGenT since 2020.

The Asian Gender Trainers' Network Program (AGenT) is one of the initiatives to establish a network of gender specialists in the Asia region.

The organizing committee of AGenT is The Korean Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education (KIGEPE). KIGEPE was established in 2003 as a government organization under the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family of Korea.
