Adolescence is a “transitional” period from a child into an adult. At this stage, children experience significant physical and psychological development related to reproductive function. This is also the period when children develop their personalities.
Therefore, equipping children with healthcare skills on adolescent reproductive health plays an extremely important role in ensuring their physical, mental, and social health.
These are the knowledge provided in communication sessions on “Adolescent reproductive health care" within the framework of the project "For Mother and Baby - For Vietnamese stature" implemented by VSF. The project aims to improve reproductive health, mental health, and nutrition for female workers of reproductive age as well as their children in the first 1,000 days of life, thereby contributing to improving the stature, physical and intellectual strength of Vietnamese children.
