An additional school in Nghe An border area was inaugurated

On November 28th 2019, after 6 months of construction, Huoi Xai school was officially inaugurated within the happiness of teachers and students in border areas.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Hiep, vice - principal of Tri Le 4 Primary School picked the delegation up from the foot of the mountain by his motorbike. He was thrilled to bits with his successful efforts because he was the first person to public the information about the trouble and privation that the Tri Le Primary School’ s teachers and students have been faced to.

The three classrooms in the Huai Xai school were upgraded and repaired; the two dormitories and official offices for teachers were built, and a antique toilet was renovated.

Attending the inauguration ceremony, the representative of the sponsor, Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang - Director of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) shared: “Crossing the 16.4 km of slippery rock road from the foot of the mountain, and traveling mainly by motorbike and on foot, we understood deeply the difficulties that the children have to overcome every day and admire extremely the noble sacrificing heart of the teachers. A spacious school will not only help students have a better learning environment, but also become a motivation to universalize education for people in the border areas. We hope that the student generations  here will overcome difficulties to become the key force, contributing to the development of the locality in particular and the country generally. ”

The happiness of teachers and students in the inauguration day of Huoi Xai school

Tri Le 4 Primary School has a main school in Muong Luong and 5 small schools on the Pha Ca Tun sierra which is the height of 1,500 meters above sea level, about 35 kilometers from the center of Que Phong mountainous district and about 200 kilometers from Vinh city. The main school and 5 small school are scattered and far apart. Huoi Xai is one of the furthest and  the most difficult place to approach because it take 6 kilometers from the main school. After the two surveys, with enthusiastic support from the teachers of Tri Le 4 school, TH Group and VSF decided to start upgrading and renovating the school from May 2019. With a total investment of 520 million dong, the project has been urgently completed in time for the winter, creating favorable conditions for studying and resting of teachers and students.

Construction company - Le Thang Co., Ltd provided a small amount of funding to contribute to Huoi Xai people.

With the happiness, Mr. Hiep said: “We won't have to worry every time it rains and sleep in a temporary wooden house. This year there will be a warm winter here. "

As one of the activities in the mission to improve physical and mental health of Vietnamese children, for a mighty Vietnam, VSF is continuing to build meaningful human constructions difficulties areas across the country. Projects such as Huoi Xai school will help the pupils have better study conditions, encourage them to go to school and be a motivation to help teachers at the school in remote areas.
