Announcement: Finished fundraising campaign to support the construction and repair of houses for families affected by Typhoon Yagi in Yen Bai provinc

After 15 days since the launch, the campaign has raised 460,315,000 VND from the contributions of 60 individuals and organizations.

According to the initial plan, VSF intended to disburse funds in multiple phases, with the first disbursement scheduled for the end of September. However, alongside this fundraising campaign, VSF will also collaborate with BAC A BANK to:

-  Build 50 houses in Yen Bai and 2 school sites in Yen Bai and Cao Bang that were damaged by the storm, funded directly by BAC A BANK.
- Construct and repair houses for people affected by Typhoon Yagi, using funds from the fundraising campaign initiated by BAC A BANK’s labor union for its staff in celebration of the bank’s 30th anniversary.

Therefore, VSF has decided to end the fundraising campaign early to focus on effectively disbursing funds for these activities.

With the 460,315,000 VND raised in this campaign, along with 49 million VND remaining from the previous fundraising campaign for essential supply bags, a total of 509,315,000 VND will be used by VSF in collaboration with the Nong Thon Ngay Nay Newspaper/Dan Viet Online Newspaper and the Yen Bai Provincial Farmers' Association to:

• Fully construct 9 houses, each worth 50 million VND.

• Repair 5 houses, each worth 10 million VND.
