100 cash gifts worth a total of 100 million VND were directly delivered by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) to women members and orphaned children affected by natural disasters and floods in Lao Cai province on Oct. 17, 2025.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women’s Union, and Ms. Tran Hong Diep - Director of VSF directly joined the relief delegation and visited the most severely affected households in Yen Bai ward, Nam Cuong ward, Van Phu commune, and Au Lau commune.

In recent days, due to the impact of Storm No. 10 and Storm No. 11, many wards and communes in Lao Cai province have suffered severe consequences caused by heavy flooding. The disasters caused serious damage to human life, property, and infrastructure. After Storm No. 10 alone, total losses in Lao Cai province were estimated at around 2,750 billion VND, with 19 people injured or missing.

This trip is part of VSF’s continued collaboration with the Vietnam Women’s Union to deliver assistance under the campaign “Support people affected by natural disasters and floods in 2025.”

Support packages are still being provided to women union members and orphaned children to help families overcome this difficult period. Earlier, using funds from the campaign, VSF delivered 100 gift packages worth 100 million VND to affected households in Thai Nguyen, and together with TH Group provided 100 gift packages in Tuyen Quang.

VSF continues to work with local authorities to deploy emergency relief activities following Storm No. 10 and Storm No. 11. To join hands and support affected communities, donors can contribute any amount through the link shared in the comments.
