For Vietnamese Stature Foundation accompanies The Red Sunday program

The representative of VSF presented the grant to Mr. Le Xuan Son - Editor-in-chief of Tien Phong Newspaper and Head of the Red Sunday Organizing Committee

Mr. Hai said: “VSF has identified the Red Sunday program as one of the significant programs in our annual implementation plan since established. This is the 7th year that VSF and its founding sponsors have honored to become the companion of voluntary blood donation in the Red Sunday festival organized by Tien Phong Newspaper, National Traffic Safety Committee and National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion".

“Blood donation is an essential action in emergency care and treatment. Especially during the Lunar New Year, blood scarcity and high demand for blood for emergency care have made it increasingly urgent to volunteer for blood donation to help patients from injuries, traffic accidents, and medical treatment.”

“We hope this year and the next few years we still are the companion of the program. On behalf of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, TH Group, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Nghe An Sugar Company, I would like to thanks the Organizing Committee of the program, Tien Phong Newspaper for joining hands on this humanitarian voluntary blood donation movement”,  Mr. Hai said.

In the 12th Red Sunday program, there were 22,000 kg of sugar, 4,800 packs of fresh milk and cash with a total value of nearly VND 1.2 billion for the event, with 50,000 gifts for volunteers participating in blood donation under the program which was sponsored by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, BAC A BANK, TH Group, Nghe An Sugar Company NASU.

In addition to sponsoring money and gifts, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation also called for officials and workers to participate in blood donation at the Red Sunday program. In a calling letter a few days ago, Madam Thai Huong, Chairwoman of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, Strategic Council of TH Group, and General Director of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank wrote: “Although you're not a doctor, you still can save people by donating blood”.
