For Vietnamese Stature Foundation recruit members of the project "Youth For Environment"

I. MAIN TASKS:

- Operating and developing social media channels to spread messages about environmental protection;

- Producing and editing communication products in the form of articles, images, video clips, graphics... to raise awareness of the community and stakeholders and promote action to solve environmental challenges (minimum 7 articles/week).

- Support to organize and participate in workshops, seminars and talks to contribute voices and solutions for environmental issues.

II. REQUIREMENT:

- Students studying at universities in Hanoi (priority is given to students majoring in environment, journalism and communication);

- Understanding of the environment and interested in environmental issues;

- Having knowledge and skills to produce and edit media products in one of the following forms: articles, images, video clips, graphics;

- Experience in managing social media channels;

- Ability to work in a team and independently;

- High sense of responsibility and professional working attitude;

- Commitment to participate until the end of the project;

- Working at the office of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation at least 2.5 days/week;

- Have a personal laptop for work.

III. BENEFIT

- Participating in a number of training courses on knowledge and skills on environment, communication, and writing skill  by experienced experts;

- Taking part in environmental field trips with veteran journalists/reporters;

- Meeting and exchanging ideas with leading experts in journalism, the environment, and communication; 

- Receiving allowance for 12 months: VND 1,800,000/person/month. In addition, out-of-province field trips to collect information will be covered travel expenses, meals and sleep according to the norms of the project;

- Receiving certificate of participation in the project is granted.

IV. APPLICATION AND HOW TO APPLY:

- CV, clearly stating relevant experience.

- Media products (links to articles, images, products ...)

- ID card/identity card, student card (photocopies do not need to be notarized)

- A letter expressing your reason you want to become a member of the project (maximum 500 words).

1. Project “Youth for Environment”

The project "Youth for the Environment - Youth for Environment" of VSF is implemented with the aim of increasing the participation of young people in environmental issues, and at the same time contributing to promoting positive changes in environmental policy of government and business for sustainable development. The project implements the following two strategic solutions:

i) Supporting young people to develop social media channels with many creative and highly contagious tools to communicate about environmental issues accurately and attractively;

ii) Build partnerships and connections between youth social media channels and other stakeholders such as policy makers, journalists, researchers, activists and businesses.
