In August 2025, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) celebrated two key milestones of the “1,000 school restrooms” project

In Nghe An, VSF and the Nghe An province l Department of Education and Training signed a cooperation agreement to build and renovate 300 school restrooms over the next three years, with total funding of 18 billion VND. The project aims to improve sanitation in schools that currently lack proper facilities or fail to meet standards. This activity is part of the “Wishes for Children” program and Plan 502 of the Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee on school health for 2021-2025. The partnership not only improves school sanitation but also reflects a strong commitment to sustainable development, placing children at the heart of social activities.

In Quang Ngai, VSF, in collaboration with Thanh Nien Newspaper, handed over 12 new school toilets at Binh Son High School and Tran Ky Phong High School. Completed in time for the new school year, these facilities not only improve daily conditions but also provide students with a clean and safe learning environment, giving them motivation to study and develop comprehensively.

These 12 restrooms bring the total number of completed and operational restrooms under the “1,000 School restrooms” project to 142. The project, supported by VSF, TH Group, and BAC A BANK, carries a total investment of 60 billion VND. Launched in April 2021, its goal is to build or renovate 1,000 standard school toilets in mountainous and disadvantaged areas.

Currently, the project is continuing with partners to speed up the construction of 10 restrooms in Lai Chau, 5 in Gia Lai, 8 in Quang Ngai, and 2 in Dak Lak, so they can be handed over and put into use in this school year.
