For Vietnamese Stature Foundation’s 10 most inspiring activities in 2021

2021 continues to be a difficult year as the Covid-19 pandemic has had long-term effects on national and international economic and social development. However, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) has shown the ability to mobilize the participation of many organizations and individuals as well as coordinate with partners to hold a series of meaningful activities for the community.

We would like to sincerely thank our organization and individual sponsors, partners, and friends for always supporting our activities in the past year.

Let’s look back at VSF’s 10 most inspiring and memorable activities in 2021 and look forward to a prosperous 2022 with more impressive activities!

Activity 1: Accompanying the Government in Covid-19 prevention with a total of VND 108 billion as of 2021, mobilized from BAC A BANK and TH Group. Apart from the VND 46 billion donated to the Vietnam Fund for Vaccination Prevention of Coronavirus Disease 2019, the three parties granted 36 ventilators, thousands of medical supplies, over 4 million glasses of milk & nutritious drinks, and thousands of welfare bags for people.

Activity 2: Implementing the project to give 1000 lavatories in 10 years for students in the “Wishes for Children” program and the construction of 4 school sites in Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hue, and Bac Kan provinces.

Activity 3: Implementing the second phase of the “Youth For Environment” project and successfully hosting the “Plastic Talk” contest with nearly 100 entries and 10 works winning the award for creative communication to reduce plastic waste.

Activity 4: Receiving 2 awards from The Korean Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education (KIGEPE) for the “Gender & gender equality with young reporters and communication officers” project and the "Improvisational theatre for perception changing and problem-solving" documentary film; as well as building a network of young reporters and communication officers for gender equality in Viet Nam.

Activity 5: Becoming a member of the Plastic Health Action Partnership (PHA); continuing to play an active role as a member of the National Coordination Body of the Vietnam Business for Environment (VB4E).

Activity 6: Successfully raising funds and continuing sponsoring 75,600 meals for half-boarding preschool students in 5 school sites in Cao Bang province as part of the “Growing up with mountainous preschool students”.

Activity 7: Finishing implementing the DynaGen Initiative - Gen II with 10 activities for 52 students to equip them with necessary skills outside of school and grant 15 students 1-year scholarships.

Activity 8: Successfully implementing the program to support vocational guidance and training for autistic teenagers and children in difficult circumstances through the sale of nearly 15,500 “Moon of Hope” mooncakes.

Activity 9: Successfully implementing the program to raise funds to build upland libraries through the sale of 18,010 “Sun on the back” calendar sets.

Activity 10: Completing the annual “Spreading True Happiness” fund-raising campaign in 2021 with over VND 2.5 billion raised to support people negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
