Forming the VB4E’s Consultant Board of Preserving Water and Wetland

On 24 December afternoon: The group had a meeting with specialists from all three regions North, Middle and South with the purpose of forming a VB4E’s Consultant Board of preserving water and wetland, and taking in constructive opinions from members about the projects in the ideas bank, as well as discuss the proposals and projects in working process.

On 25 December morning: The group met and worked with the Department of Agriculture and Countryside Development of Dong Thap province to discuss the idea “Project Planting upstream forest and preserving water resources”.

After that, the group had a field trip at Dong Thap Muoi Indigo Forest Ecological Reserve.

VB4E is an initiative initiated by IUCN and officially launched in June 2020 with the participation of two co-founders, the Institute of Strategy and Policy for Natural Resources and Environment (Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment) and TH Group. The purpose of the VB4E is to promote businesses' participation in environmental protection in Vietnam.

With a mission to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular education, health, equity and sustainable development goals, and as a long-term strategic partner of the Group TH, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation is invited to serve as a member of VB4E's National Coordinating Group.
