“Growing up with mountainous preschool students”: First semi-boarding meals provided for students in Cao Bang

In the exciting atmosphere of welcoming the new school year, the nutritious and hot meals full of vegetables and meat have been provided to 209 preschool students in Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province.

Thanks to the trust and contributions of our generous sponsors for the “Growing up with mountainous preschool students” project, students at 5 school sites – Na O, Khau Noong, Ban La, Khau De, Sang Xoay – can go to school without worrying about their daily meals.

"100% of the students returned to school with excitement and joy, especially looking forward to lunchtime. Since early morning, many have been asking what's for lunch today. The children all finished their meals in a good table manner." - shared Mrs. To Nhu, a teacher at the Na O school site, in excitement.

We hope that with the support of the community, the semi-boarding meals provided by the “Growing up with mountainous preschool students” project will motivate these children to attend school happily, stay healthy, and focus on their studies.

"Growing up with mountainous preschool students" is one of VSF’s important and long-term projects that aims to sponsor school lunches and improve learning conditions for preschool students in disadvantaged areas. Currently, the project is implemented in Cao Bang and Son La. Over the past 3 years, the project has received continuous support and contributions from more than 263,000 individual sponsors, and organizations, with a total sponsorship amount of over 1 BILLION VND.
