Inauguration of gratitude house for family of Mr. Lu Van Thai in Quy Chau district, Nghe An province

The family of Mr. Lu Van Thai and Mrs. Vi Thi Thanh was originally an extremely poor household in the commune. In the past years, their family always had to live in shortage of food and clothing, to the extent that Mr. Thai and his two children almost died of food poisoning. The whole family lived in a makeshift, substandard, and empty shack. The house has many children, is small and adjacent to each other. Both the husband and wife are not healthy enough to go to work, leading to unstable income to raise the children.

Immediately after knowing the situation of the family, the VSF and BAC A BANK sponsored 50,000,000 VND since November 2022 to support his family in building a new house to settle down. With the assistance of units, people, and leaders of the People’s Committee of Chau Phong commune, the dilapidated old house was replaced by a stronger and safer house.

It is hoped that this new house will help Mr. Thai's family life be more stable, and have a long-term source of livelihood to escape poverty, thereby improving the quality of life.
