Initiative "Gender - Gender Equality with Young Reporters" receives funding from Asian Gender Trainers' Network Program

Initiative "Gender - Gender Equality with Young Reporters" of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) surpassed 12 proposals in Asia to receive funding from 2021 AGenT Small Grant Program (SGP) of Asian Gender Trainers' Network Program (AGenT).
With this initiative, through a series of training and field activities, VSF hopes to inspire and support young inexperienced reporters to become champions in promoting gender equality through their press products.
Beside the initiative of VSF, 3 other selected ones are from Indonesia, Nepal and Mongolia.

In 2020, Ms Tran Hong Diep - Deputy Director of VSF was the only representative of Vietnam to attend the component "Senior gender trainer" of Asian Gender Trainers' Network Program - AGenT. Ms Diep has many years of experience working in the field of Gender and Gender mainstreaming with roles such as trainer, researcher, program/project manager and supervisor.
In 2021, Ms Giap Quynh Hoa - an officer of VSF has also become one of two representatives of Vietnam to attend the component "Junior gender trainer" of AGenT.
AGenT is one of the efforts to build a network of Gender specialists in Asia.
