“The inauguration of 20 school restroom facilities makes a practical contribution to caring for the health and improving the learning conditions of our students. We deeply appreciate and are grateful for this support and we commit to using and maintaining the facilities to keep them clean and beautiful, ensuring that every day at school, the students feel loved, shared with and cared for.”

These were the touching words shared by Ms. Vo Thi Hien - Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Binh Son commune, Quang Ngai province, at the inauguration ceremony of 20 school restroom facilities in the commune.

Binh Son commune was formed from Chau O town and the communes of Binh Thanh, Binh Chanh, Binh Duong, Binh Nguyen, Binh Trung and Binh Long. Over the past years, the locality has consistently received attention and support from educational ministries and departments to help students learn in a better environment. However, due to limited resources, some facility items at schools, especially restrooms, had deteriorated and did not fully meet the daily learning and living requirements of the students.

In this context, the simultaneous putting into use of 20 school restroom facilities with a total value of 1.2 billion VND (60 million VND per facility) is a practical solution to improve school sanitation conditions.

The restrooms are designed according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training, including separate closed restroom areas for boys and girls with hygienic hand-washing sinks, thereby meeting the daily sanitation needs of more than 1,400 students.

The handover and putting of these facilities into use right before the 2026 Lunar New Year not only promptly addresses the urgent needs of the schools but also contributes to creating a safer, cleaner and healthier learning environment for students in the new school year.

These are also the next 20 facilities inaugurated within the framework of the 1,000 school restrooms project, coordinated by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), TH Group and BAC A BANK under the “Wishes for children” program. In 2025 alone, the project donated 402 facilities, with a total value of more than 24.12 billion VND, to schools in many disadvantaged localities across the country.
