Plastic Talk - Organizer Introduction: For Vietnamese Stature Foundation

For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) is a non-profit foundation, established in 2014 with the mission to contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with particular emphasis on SDGs related to education, equality, health care, and sustainable development. With its efforts and contributions, from 2020, VSF has been in charge of a member of the National Coordinating Group of Viet Nam Business for Environment Alliance - VB4E.

One of VSF's 5 core programs is “Action for Environment”. In particular, VSF implements projects to raise community awareness, strengthen the participation and specific actions of stakeholders in solving environmental problems, and contribute to promoting positive policies and laws on environmental protection. Project "Youth for Environment" initiated and implemented by VSF in 2019 is a typical example. In addition, VSF also co-organized the Initiative fund "Fresh air - green city" and Non-profit environmental film project with 5 impressive short films on the following topics: Forest protection, Water saving, Electricity saving, Plastic waste minimization and Recycled fashion.

To encourage youth participation in solving environmental issues, VSF organizes a contest to find creative environmental communication products for the young generation. PLASTIC TALK contest is a joint activity between VSF and Enabling Sustainable Communities (GreenHub) in the long-term cooperation program: "We Connect for Green".

“Hopefully the contest will bring many creative products to help communication on plastic waste achieve high results and have a positive impact on the community. After the contest, VSF and GreenHub will continue to launch a communication campaign on plastic waste reduction in many provinces and cities across the country. The winning products will be uploaded and spread widely in this campaign.” - Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang, Director of VSF added.
