This is continually one of VSF,TH Group and Bac A Bank’ activities joining hands with the Government to support education in particular and programs in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in general.

In 2020, the 3 organizations also accompanied the Government in the prevention and fighting against Covid-19, the support for Central Region people in the historic flood, the “Tet for the poor” program and the series of activities about building civil constructions, the instruction about taking care of health for the laborer in difficult circumstances, etc. with total tens of billions VND.

“Wishes for children” calls on the whole community to join hands to support students and teachers in disadvantaged, remote, and ethnic areas. Especially, in the first stage, it focuses on supporting 6 groups of “wishes” which are essential needs: Supporting building school sites, official residences and classrooms in areas with extremely difficult socio-economic conditions; supporting or improving restrooms; supporting the electric and water system; supporting lunch for students to improve nutrition in school; supporting appliances, school stationeries and daily life’s things for students  (Books, clothes, etc.); supporting stature improvement facilities for students (playground, sport equipment, etc.).

According to the national statistics, there are 188.000 school restrooms in all educational levels, from preschool to high school, of which 67% are solid restrooms. Particularly, preschool bathrooms have the lowest rate of the building’s strength that is 58%; secondary school, primary school and highschool have the rate of over  67%, 70% and 80%, respectively.

Let’s join hands to spread the Good Deeds Day 2021 and accompany VSF in community activities.
