Attending the program were Mr. Phan Van Hien – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of the commune; Mr. Vo Tien Sy – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huy Anh – Member of the Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nghia Lam commune; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ha– Chairwoman of the Women’s Union of Nghia Lam Commune; Mrs. Luu Thi Thu Hien – Deputy General Director of TH Dairy Food Joint Stock Company; Mr. Vu Xuan Thai – VSF Program Manager; along with all 30 women beneficiaries receiving livelihood loans.
A total livelihood fund of VND 300 million was provided in the form of interest-free loans to support women in developing household economies, improving their incomes, and gradually stabilizing their lives. This was also the first time many local women had access to this type of financial support, giving them greater motivation and confidence

The women have flexibly used the loans for various livelihood models suited to their families’ actual conditions, including livestock and poultry farming, repairing animal shelters, cultivating guava, pineapple, and macadamia trees, as well as running small grocery businesses.
In remarks at the program, Mr. Nguyen Huy Anh – Member of the Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nghia Lam commune – highly appreciated the practical significance of the livelihood support loans provided to the first 30 disadvantaged women in the commune. He also affirmed that the local authorities would closely coordinate in monitoring and supporting the beneficiary households to ensure that the loans are used for the right purposes and deliver long-term effectiveness.

The support fund comes from the Let’s Orange campaign launched in 2025 by the VSF, TH Group, BAC A BANK, and the TH School system. Of the total loans, VND 300 million had previously been disbursed to support the livelihoods of 30 disadvantaged women in Nam Can commune, Ca Mau province. The remaining VND 300 million has now been disbursed to support another 30 disadvantaged women in Nghia Lam commune, Nghe An province. According to the plan, each woman-led household receives a VND 10 million interest-free loan for 1 year to support household economic development.
Since 2022, more than VND 1.9 billion has been contributed to the Livelihood Support Fund through the Let's Orange campaign. The fund has supported and continues to support 320 women in the provinces of Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Son La, Tuyen Quang, Nghe An, and Ca Mau.
Mrs. Luu Thi Thu Hien – Deputy General Director of TH Dairy Food Joint Stock Company, representing the organizing units, shared: “What makes this program special is that it not only provides financial support but also creates opportunities for women to develop their household economies. The interest-free revolving fund, operated on an annual basis, will continue to support more disadvantaged women in the commune in the years to come.”

Immediately following the fund handover ceremony, VSF also organized a training session for the women beneficiaries, focusing on gender equality, domestic violence prevention, and enhancing the role of women in household economic development. The session was facilitated by Mr. Vu Xuan Thai, Program Manager of VSF
