That was a sharing from Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang – Chairwoman of the VSF’s Management Council at the Business Forum themed “Balancing the Scales in Business – From Policy to Actions” held on May 27, 2026. The forum was organized by UN Women and the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC) under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in Ho Chi Minh City.
This year’s forum focused on discussing responsible business trends, the role of gender equality in economic growth, as well as sharing practical experiences from enterprises effectively implementing the WEPs in Vietnam. The discussion sessions brought together more than 100 representatives from policymaking agencies, international organizations, experts, and the business community.
Speaking as a guest at the Forum, Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang shared that VSF’s motivation to accompany UN Women comes from a shared vision in promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls in a sustainable way. She also noted that the private sector is playing an increasingly important role in addressing social issues. She further emphasized that these issues require a multi-stakeholder approach and long-term, systemic solutions.

In the context of Vietnam promoting inclusive growth and sustainable development, cooperation models between social organizations and international organizations such as VSF and UN Women, together with the private sector, need to be expanded, contributing to building a safe environment for women and girls in the digital era.
