Representative of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) contributed to the development of the National Strategy on Gender Equality, period 2021 - 2030

Ms. Tran Hong Diep - Deputy Director of VSF raised her opinions at the seminar, altogether with officials and experts from domestic and international NGOs, and relevant state agencies. 

So far, how has VSF contributed to promoting gender equality?

Gender analysis is one of the requirements when designing - implementing - evaluating projects and other voluntary activities.

Messages and communication products of VSF have no gender bias

VSF constantly strives to implement programs / projects that improve life quality and increase women and girls’ participation. For examples:

- Program "Healthcare for women in reproductive age", with a key project called "For mothers and babies", which has been implemented since 2016

- "Nurturing Young Talents" program with many scholarships for talented and / or disadvantaged female students

- With the aim of building confidence, leadership skill and knowledge to improve working conditions for female workers, CARE International in Vietnam co-operates the Project "I'm Strong "with the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa Province, the Institute for Social, Economic and Environmental Research (ISEE Institute), the Center for Community Health Research and Support (CCHS) and VSF in Thanh Hoa, Long An, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.
