The Zero Discrimination Day has chosen by the United Nations (UN) on 1 March since 2014, after Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) launched the Zero-Discrimination campaign against people living with HIV/AIDS in particular and those with special circumstances in general. To this day, the UN wants to increase global solidarity towards ending all forms of discrimination.
This year, UNAIDS highlighted the urgent need to take action against discriminatory laws. In many countries, these laws result in people being treated differently, excluded from essential services or unduly limited in how they live their lives, simply because of who they are, what they do or who they love. Such laws are discriminatory - they deny human rights and fundamental freedoms.
In the development journey, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) always strives to contribute to the promotion of social justice, especially implementing programs for vulnerable groups. Some projects can be mentioned such as: Growing up with mountainous preschool students, Scarlet Sails, training programs on gender and gender equality, For the mother and baby - For the stature of Vietnam, so on.
