For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) would like to sincerely thank our Sponsors for accompanying the “Growing up with mountainous preschool students” project to bring nutritious meals to 311 mountainous students in Cao Bang and Son La provinces.
In the academic year 2022 - 2023, the project sponsored 97,586 free semi-boarding meals, including hot lunches and afternoon snacks. The delicious meals not only motivated the children to continue their journey to school despite multiple hardships but also improved their health significantly. On average, compared to the beginning of the school year, each student gained 8.1 cm in height and 3.1 kg in weight.
In addition to sponsoring meals, VSF also improved facilities for difficult school sites in Cao Bang. At the Ban La and Sang Xoay school sites of Thai Son Kindergarten School, VSF sponsored the installation of corrugated iron sheets for the kitchen area. At the Khau Noong and Na O school sites of Thach Lam Kindergarten School, VSF sponsored warm blankets, blanket closets, and other necessary items. The total value of the gifts was 25 million VND.
At the end of the school year, VSF also organized two trips to visit and give presents to 195 preschool students in Cao Bang and 116 primary students in Son La.
The results are made possible thanks to the cooperation of individual and organization sponsors and the collective efforts of VSF and its partners during the past time.
This week, the “Growing up with mountainous preschool students” project is starting to raise funds for the academic year 2023 - 2024, continuing a meaningful journey to provide nutritious meals and a healthy learning environment for children in the highlands.
