“The seminars were very helpful as the imparted knowledge was practicable and useful, which we are missing”

In recent days, workers in industrial zones in Hai Phong City continuously participated in sessions on reproductive and mental health at their workplace.

As of June 24, 8 seminars were already conducted, attracting both male and female workers with nearly 1800 participants.

The project experts have provided insights into the importance of prenatal checkups, maternal care, infant care, especially modern methods of contraception and protection of sexually transmitted diseases. Meanwhile, the knowledge related to maternity depression was also introduced by experts to assist workers in taking better care for themselves and their families.

In 2020, phase 4 of "For mother and baby - For Vietnamese Stature" project has been implemented by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation in collaboration with Hai Phong Labor Federation, Hai Phong Women Union. The project continues to receive sponsorship from TH Group, DKT International and Golden Choice Co., Ltd. with the products of Newchoice contraceptive pills & OK condoms and gifts from Hoa Linh Pharmaceutical Company and UCARE sanitary napkin.
