The sharing of Mr. Doan Van Chu - The Principal of Ban Lau Primary School

"The renovation activity at Na Nhung school site is really meaningful. This action not only helps students study in a safe and clean place but also ensures a hygiene environment at school. Since then, it is comfortable for teachers and pupils for teaching and studying "

The renovation and construction activity at Na Nhung school site of Ban Lau Primary School (Muong Khuong, Lao Cai) was conducted under the project "Happy School", which was deployed by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) with the companionship and funding from TH Group and BAC A BANK. These include: three classrooms, the playground, the drainage system are renovated, and a new restroom is re-built for nearly 102 ethnic minority students who are studying here. The total investment for the project is 274 million VND.

According to Mr. Chu, before receiving assistance from VSF, they had to use an old, semi-septic restroom that did not meet the requirements of cleanliness for usage by kindergarten and primary students. Besides, the classrooms were  seriously degraded., and the playground was still a dirt yard, making it unsafe for students to play and study, especially in humid weather.

A playground, the restrooms, and the modern, larger classrooms are now present at the Na Nhung school site. From now on, students will not be concerned about slippery schoolyards, damp classrooms during the rainy season, or unsanitary restrooms.
