VSF Representative to be one of the 20 participants of the Training Workshop on UN Human Rights Mechanisms

The training workshop is specifically designed for scholars and educationists who are the instructor of UN human rights mechanisms. This is a great opportunity for the participants to gain a deeper understanding of activities carried out by UN human rights organizations based in Geneva.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the seminar will be held online instead of in Geneva, Switzerland, with assured consistency in training and communication ability. Lectures during the training workshop will be led by experts from academic institutions, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and UN human rights organizations based in Geneva. In addition, participants will be joining the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the UN Human Rights Council.

The organizers of this training workshop are the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights in Oslo and Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.
