8 of our young sailors have just completed their first training session in the “Scarlet Sails” project. They are all energetic individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and a special dedication to community service and volunteering.

As “crew members” of the project, they will accompany experts in the upcoming training sessions on gender education and child abuse prevention. They will also continue taking part in fundraising activities, expanding access to self-defense knowledge for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

At the training sessions, they not only explored topics such as gender, sexual education and child protection, but also practiced necessary skills to better fulfill their roles: activity coordination, teamworking, problem solving and active listening.

We hope that with the knowledge gained and community spirit kindled during our first training session, may all our “sailors” sail side by side – so that the“Scarlet sail” may catch the wind, brave the waves, and carry love ever farther to more and more children.

Let’s listen together to what special thoughts the 8 “junior sailors” have to share after the training session!

Moreover, the voyage of the Scarlet Sail is still wide open, welcoming 30 special “passengers” – young explorers aged 12 to 15, children of BAC A BANK staff – to come aboard for two meaningful courses on sex education and protection against abuse and violence.
