From dialogue sessions for parents to skill-training workshops for students, from a young volunteer team to family-centered bonding activities, Scarlet sails 2025 has completed a deeply emotional 5-month journey, bringing small yet lasting changes in both awareness and action for parents and children alike.

The journey began with the talk show “Beautiful teenage years.” Nearly 170 parents, together with two speakers, discussed topics such as sexuality education, reproductive health, risks of abuse, and effective communication skills with children during puberty.

Shortly after, 8 volunteers were selected and trained to become the project’s special “crew members,” accompanying the Scarlet sail throughout its activities.

In June, the project organized two training courses for nearly 40 students on comprehensive sexuality education and the prevention of violence, discrimination, and abuse, helping them build knowledge and self-protection skills.

In the same month, the “Connection and sharing” talk show was held to strengthen bonds between parents and children. In addition, families participated in a creative recycling activity to raise funds for children in difficult circumstances. A total of 40.5 million VND was successfully raised, from contributions by participants in two internal training courses of BAC A BANK and donations from 19 families who joined the Scarlet sails project activities.

With this funding, the project was further extended to Phu Tho, where 30 ethnic minority students in Grades 7, 8, and 9 at Vay Nua Primary and Lower Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities received training and comprehensive knowledge on sexuality education and child protection. VSF and BAC A BANK also presented 30 study-encouragement gifts and 384 glasses of fresh TH true MILK to the students at the school.

By the end of 2025, the project had accompanied more than 250 parents, students, and volunteers on a journey to spread messages about gender equality, sexuality education, and children’s right to protection. Through a diverse and practical series of activities, the Scarlet sails 2025 helped equip children with self-protection skills, raise awareness among parents, and encourage greater community participation in building a safe, friendly, and equitable environment for all children.

Sincere thanks to our partner and sponsor BAC A BANK, and heartfelt appreciation to the parents, students, and volunteers who trusted, participated, and helped spread the meaningful values of the Scarlet sails.
