What will students of Hope School do to prevent violence?

 The students were divided into 04 groups, each assigned 04 different situations to express their personal viewpoints when facing such cases. The discussions were lively, with diverse and flexible solutions proposed. All the ideas were brought together in colorful, carefully prepared and highly creative posters.

Many students expressed the view that it is necessary to build a united and supportive school environment based on listening, understanding and respecting one another’s opinions. They also discussed appropriate responses when witnessing or experienceing violence, highlighting the need to speak up by reporting incidents to teachers, while also finding flexible ways to support others, such as helping classmates feel welcomed and included. 

In particular, through the discussions, the students gained a clearer understanding of existing stereotypes in schools, such as boys being teased for “not being masculine enough” or girls being isolated for being “too quiet.” From there, many suggested the need to “promote and spread knowledge about gender and individual differences,” as well as organize extracurricular activities to foster greater understanding and mutual respect.

The enthusiasm, positivity, and dedication reflected in each product show that when given the opportunity, students are fully capable of understanding, critically reflecting, and gradually forming positive viewpoints on violence prevention, gender equality, and respect for differences in the school environment.
