A year of nurturing Happy School in Nghe An province

During the 2024-2025 school year, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) implemented the Happy School project at Ha Son Primary School, providing comprehensive support in facilities and capacity building for teachers, students, and parents at the school.

With a total budget of nearly 1.2 billion VND, the project organized 20 in-depth training and communication activities centered around the following topics:

Public health: School nutrition, oral hygiene, ADHD recognition, drowning prevention, and injury prevention.
Positive discipline.
Physical education.
Gender and gender equality.
Promoting reading culture.

Alongside training activities, the project also focused on improving facilities and teaching and learning conditions through:

Constructing 01 school restroom (441 million VND) and installing 01 playground sunshade (45 million VND) at Ha Son Primary School.
Collaborating with the TH School System to donate 33 used laptops to Ha Son Primary School.
Awarding 20 scholarships (1.5 million VND each) to disadvantaged students.
Donated 4,950 books (worth 261 million VND) to 22 primary and secondary schools in Quy Hop district.

Through these activities, the Happy School project reached and helped over 13,000 people, of which 12,881 were students.

Evaluating the project's impact, Mr. Ngo Xuan Song, Principal of Ha Son Primary School, shared: “The project has effectively implemented training programs, raising awareness and ability for school administrators, teachers, parents, and students. It has also promoted coordination among the school, family, and community. In the future, we will continuously improve the quality of the program, strengthen facilities, and promote the values of a happy school.”

The 2024-2025 school year marked the third year of the Happy School project, with the companionship of TH Group and BAC A BANK. The project aims to contribute to improving facilities and enhancing the ability of teachers and students in disadvantaged areas. This is one of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation's ongoing efforts to contribute to National Target Programs and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
