During a group meeting taking place on June 28, 2020, members of “I am strong” groups had revealed their thoughts about the vision and progress of the project.

"Nobody bothers about our problems more than ourselves, so we have to take action to change things."

It was very emotional about the thoughts that members of the “I am strong” groups - who are originally female workers had shared during a group meeting on June 28, 2020, in Hung Son village, Ngoc Lac town, Ngoc Lac district, Thanh Hoa province.

After 1 month of co-research implementation, some groups had gathered preliminary information which was valuable and inspiring to others for being confident and resilient.

The members also had the opportunity to review the co-research implementation in order to continue to collect information next time.

Let's look at the images of members of “I am strong” groups and two administrators - Ms Tran Hong Diep and Ms Giap Quynh Hoa, of VSF on June 28, 2020.

With the aim of building confidence, leadership capacity and knowledge to enhance the welfare and improve working conditions for female workers, CARE International in Vietnam co-launched the project “I am Strong” with the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa province, The Institute of Society, Economy and Environment (ISEE Institute), Centre for Community Health Research and Support (CCHS) and VSF Thanh Hoa, Long An, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.
