Introducing the publication "Research of “I am strong” worker groups in Thanh Hoa province"

This publication is the efforts of “I am strong” worker groups in three districts including Hau Loc, Ngoc Lac and Tho Xuan of Thanh Hoa province. The studies related to familiar topics in women's lives such as family, parenting, health and work.

Female workers worked for 1 year with the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa province; CARE International in Vietnam; The Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (iSee); and For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) to find the results presented in this publication.

We would like to thank the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa Province and the Women's Unions of districts, communes, and local departments for connecting the local research team with one in Hanoi.

With the aim of building confidence, leadership capacity and knowledge to enhance the welfare and improve working conditions for female workers, CARE International in Vietnam co-implemented the "I am Strong" initiative with the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa province, The Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (iSee), Centre for Community Health Research and Support (CCHS) and For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) in Thanh Hoa, Long An, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.
