Discussion among female workers to find out a research topic
In Ngoc Lac district, Thanh Hoa province, on June 21, "I am strong" project has introduced to the female workers the concept of co-research and its implementation process. Participants have then found out desired research topics: reproductive health, parental skills through puberty, pressure on output, allowance policies, etc...
Project participants have also developed a research plan with research questions, methods of collecting data and task assignment. According to the plan, on June 28, a meeting will be conducted to gather information.

With the aim of building confidence, leadership capacity and knowledge to enhance the welfare and improve working conditions for female workers, CARE International in Vietnam co-launched the project "I am Strong" with the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa province, The Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (ISEE Institute), Centre for Community Health Research and Support (CCHS) and VSF Thanh Hoa, Long An, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.
