On March 14, 2021, the “I am strong” initiative hosted a periodic group meeting in Ngoc Lac District, Thanh Hoa Province. This was the first meeting of female workers after the Lunar New Year. In the joyful atmosphere of the spring, the groups looked back at the event that they organized themselves to share their co-research’s findings to the locals, which took place 2 months ago. Thanks to that, the members felt motivated and became more determined to launch initiatives for improving life quality for themselves and the community. Implementing these initiatives will be the next phase after the co-research period. This activity aims to help the female workers to actualize proposals and recommendations conducted in their previous researches.

Nearly 20 initiatives were shared after exciting group discussions. These initiatives focus on six main groups: organizing training sessions on agricultural techniques and animal husbandry; creating a playground for women to exercise (such as volleyball, aerobic, folk dance, etc.); organizing parenting sharing events; supporting female workers to learn sidelines (beauty, handicraft production, ...); organizing family festivals to encourage men’s participation in household chores; and supporting locals in difficult circumstances.

Based on the criteria of time and resources, the female workers choose 3 out of 20 initial initiatives and formed implementing groups. They are:

     -  Love Giving Group: Calling for the community’s participation to help local people in difficult circumstances, and organizing activities to share knowledge and experiences for group members about children's education and reproductive health care.

     - Ha Son group: Building up a volleyball club to create a playground for women to exercise and perform folk dance.

     - Life Improvement Group: Supporting the female workers in online business activities via inviting experts for trainings on effective online sales techniques.

In the coming periods, the groups will make detailed plans on human resources, budget and activities to implement the initiative step by step.
