Implementing 3 initiatives in the “I am strong” project.

The Gerbera Group organised a workshop about online sales skills to get the objectives of supporting female workers to increase their incomes by sideline. The workshop attracted many participants and all women had the opportunities to discover useful skills supporting the online sales such as: evaluating the market, orienting the business, advertising, getting the order, etc.

The Giving Love Group had a meeting to have the agreement of the gift giving plan for local difficult circumstances. In addition, at this meeting, the group also invited an animal husbandry expert to advise all the members about how to breed cattle and poultry (buffalo, cow, pig, chicken) efficiently.

The Happy - Healthy Group continued the activities of the volleyball club and the folk dance in 2 evenings each week. Until now, the group has organised nearly 20 sessions for women. This is a useful and meaningful playground helping female workers with more strength and joyfulness after busy days of working and taking care of families.

In the coming months, with 3 initiatives implemented, all groups will continue to complete, remain and maximize the efficiency of all activities, thereby they can help all women to have healthier and happier lives.

With the aim of building confidence, leadership capacity and knowledge to enhance the welfare and improve working conditions for female workers, CARE International in Vietnam co-implemented the "I am Strong" initiative with the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa province, The Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (iSee), Centre for Community Health Research and Support (CCHS) and For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) in Thanh Hoa, Long An, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.
