H.A.G., a 9th-grade student from Lai Chau province, recently underwent a cardiac intervention to treat an arrhythmia that had caused frequent fatigue and chest discomfort during physical activity. Thanks to timely treatment, G.’s health has recovered well, and he has been discharged from the hospital, returning home to the happiness of the family

Before that, chest discomfort often left G. feeling tired after even physical activity. Over time, the symptoms became more noticeable, and the student would fatigue more easily than before. Even playing shuttlecock with friends, once a simple happiness, gradually became something G. had to hold back on.

When G. was diagnosed, the family was deeply worried, especially as the treatment costs were beyond their means. G.’s parents and relatives had even thought about borrowing money to cover the expenses, but the burden was heavy, as all three siblings were still in school and the family depended only on a modest income from small plots of rice, maize, cassava, and a little cardamom.

Thanks to the support of an anonymous donor, who has long accompanied For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) in supporting children with heart conditions, G. was given the chance to receive treatment. With VND 12,678,992 in funding, along with the devoted care of doctors at E Hospital, H.A.G. was able to undergo a timely cardiac intervention.

“I would like to thank the Foundation, the donor, and the doctors for giving me the chance to receive treatment. I feel much better now and am no longer as tired as before. I hope to return to school soon and study hard to prepare for the upcoming exams,” G. shared before being discharged.

On the day G. was preparing to return home, VSF visited to offer encouragement and support. Glasses of TH true MILK, along with financial support, were presented to the family as a gesture of well-wishes for G.'s continued recovery and return to daily life soon.

Following the intervention, G.’s health has stabilized. Ahead lie the days of returning to school, continuing revision, and preparing for the upcoming transition exam. VSF wishes G. continued strength, a bright smile, and the best results in the exams ahead.

VSF would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the anonymous donor for their companionship and generosity, helping provide timely treatment for H.A.G., as well as bringing hope to many other pediatric patients.
