Discovering the story behind the number “630 VND” and “63,000 VND” with Professor Orange

Have you ever wondered that with every orange-labelled TH product you purchase at 45 TH true mart stores, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) and TH Group contribute 630 VND to the livelihood support fund? This contribution helps women who have experienced violence and are facing difficult circumstances gain opportunities to improve their lives.

And that is not all. For every “Home Builder” savings account opened by customers at BAC A BANK, the bank also contributes 63,000 VND to this fund, spreading even more strength and hope to women in need of support.

So why 630 VND and 63,000 VND? These figures were not chosen at random. Let Professor Orange reveal the story behind them.

According to the National Study on Violence Against Women in Viet Nam 2019 (conducted by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the General Statistics Office, and UNFPA), 63% of women in Viet Nam have experienced at least one form of violence from their husband or intimate partner during their lifetime.

That is why VSF, together with TH Group and BAC A BANK, selected the contribution levels of 630 VND and 63,000 VND as a powerful reminder of this alarming statistic, while encouraging the community to take action to raise awareness and join efforts to eliminate violence against women and children.
