On August 14th, the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), TH Group, and BAC A BANK, in collaboration with the National Volunteer Center (under the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee), organized the groundbreaking ceremony for 20 school restrooms at Bat Đong school site, Hoa Binh Kindergarten, Sap Vat commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province.

Each restroom, valued at 60 million VND, will be built at schools in 9 communes: Chieng Dong, Phieng Khoai, Chieng On, Long Phieng, Tu Nang, Yen Son, Chieng Tuong, Sap Vat, and Muonng Lum, with the help of local youth union members and residents in leveling the ground and transporting materials. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in the 2024-2025 school year.

At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, the principal of Hoa Binh Kindergarten, expressed her joy and excitement that her school would receive funding for the construction of a restroom. She affirmed that once the project is completed and operational, the school will have better conditions to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

This activity is part of the project ''1,000 school restrooms'' within the framework of the "Wishes for Children" program. The program aims to mobilize the entire society to support students and teachers in difficult, remote, and ethnic minority areas across the country.

Once these restrooms are put into use, they will provide students with a cleaner and safer learning environment. This is also an important condition to improve their health and allow them to focus on their studies.

The project ‘‘1,000 school restrooms’’ is sponsored by TH Group, BAC A BANK, and the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation. The project has a total value of 60 billion VND and was launched in April 2021, with the goal of supporting the repair and construction of standard restrooms in schools in mountainous, remote, and disadvantaged areas. Additionally, the three units have also implemented an operational sponsorship package for the project with the participation of relevant stakeholders.
