"This project marks the 10th anniversary of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), celebrating a decade of dedication to improving educational conditions for children in remote areas and enhancing social welfare in general."

Ms. Tran Hong Diep, Director of VSF, shared these words at the groundbreaking ceremony for the boarding house of My Ly 1 Semi-Boarding Ethnic Primary School  (PTDTBT) in Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

The construction of this dormitory holds great significance in improving the living and learning conditions for children in remote areas. The new facility will provide students with a safe and comfortable place to stay - warm in winter, cool in summer - helping to maintain school attendance and reduce dropout rates due to poor living conditions.

The fundraising campaign for Phase 1 of the project was launched in November 2024, on the occasion of VSF’s 10th anniversary. Within just two months, the foundation successfully raised over 2 billion VND from 2,260 organizations and individuals.

"This impressive figure not only reflects the spirit of sharing from thousands of contributors across the country but also demonstrates the powerful impact of VSF’s initiatives," Ms. Diep added.

In addition to the project at My Ly 1 Ethnic Primary School, VSF is also constructing a three-story classroom building at Dien Bien Boarding High School for Ethnic Minority Students. This project commemorates the 30th anniversary of BAC A BANK and VSF’s 10th anniversary, with completion expected in 2025.
