Launching the media channel of the project "Youth for Environment"

In April 2020, the Green Eyes Fanpage of "Youth for Environment" project was officially launched, which is an effective channel for exchanging information on environmental activities and raising awareness of the community, especially the youth on environmental protection in Vietnam. In particular, the fanpage is operated with advice from many experts, organizations and agencies involved.

After only 2 weeks of launching, Green Eyes fanpage has attracted nearly 15,000 accesses with nearly 700 followers from the youth. Notably, the article comparing "animal quarantine” and our social distancing at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic attracted nearly 250 interactions, reaching nearly 2,000 young people in discussion.

The core group of project "Youth for Environment" named Green Eyes consists of 8 members with diverse specialties (such as journalism, communication, environment, hospitality, law, etc.), knowledgeable about environment, experienced in social activities, communication skills, design, writing and dedication to environmental activities. These core members promise to be positive factors contributing to success of the project.

The name Green Eyes has special meanings: The eyes represent the stand and objective views of the younger generation on environmental issues. Green is color of plants and the symbol of fresh environment. "Green Eyes" means: young people will be aware of environmental problems and promoting solutions to address them.
