Patient C.T.M. is recovering well after heart surgery

C.T.M. (14 years old, from Can Ty commune, Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province), a young schoolgirl who has gone through two heart surgeries with the support of TH Group and For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), is showing remarkable recovery according to her latest check-up.

Her older brother shared that after the surgery, she can now walk on her own, do her own laundry, and help the family with sweeping and washing dishes. During her summer break, M. has been eagerly looking forward to returning to school, seeing her teachers and friends again. In the past, due to poor health, she could not join the art and performance activities she loved. Now that her health has improved, she wishes to take part in performances with her classmates at school.

“There is nothing happier than seeing her grow stronger and recover day by day. Our family is deeply grateful to the doctors, as well as TH Group and VSF, for giving her the chance to overcome this serious illness,” her brother said emotionally.

At the re-examination, her doctor confirmed that M.’s health after the surgery is stable, her heart function has improved, and her overall condition is progressing positively.

Earlier, in April 2025, M. underwent two heart surgeries funded by TH Group and VSF, with a total cost of 47 million VND, raised through TH Group’s Happiness Survey fundraising initiative.

Supporting heart surgeries for disadvantaged children is a mission that VSF has consistently pursued with the help of donors and organizations. Surrounded by the love of family and the community, VSF believes that M. will grow up healthy and enjoy a full, happy childhood with her friends.
