“In the 2025 - 2026 school year, through the activities of the Happy school project, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) aims to promote all children’s rights, especially the right to develop and the right to participate. Through these efforts, children will have opportunities to express their own wishes and aspirations, as well as to take part directly in project activities. They will learn how to interact with adults and work with others to realize their fundamental rights.”

That was the message shared by Ms. Tran Hong Diep, Director of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, in the feature report “Happy school project - For the holistic development of students” broadcast on Nghe An Radio and Television Station.

Entering its fourth year of implementation, the project continues to bring meaningful changes to more than 400 students at Nghia Loi Primary School (Nghia Tho commune, Nghe An province). Beyond improving learning and living conditions, the project also focuses on creating spaces for students to participate and co-create. The children are not only beneficiaries but also active voices in various activities, from drawing and school wall newspapers to practicing life skills and promoting gender equality.

Each activity, therefore, is more than just a training or communication session. It is an opportunity for children to experience and express their right to participate. This serves as an important foundation for their holistic development within a truly “happy school” environment.
